Stumbled upon the new toy while out and about at work today. It was headed out on a training flight. The C-Series/A220 is a good looking plane. Pretty sure passengers are going to like it.

Nah, fuck Delta and their “you’re in boarding zone 2" on your ticket that’s actually zone 937 behind all the other un-numbered zones that only exist to reward frequent flyers and/or sell Delta credit cards.
When I fly Delta with my wife, we pay to check one bigass suitcase, and carry on a smaller suitcase, that we never actually carry on because Delta books the shit out of all their flights and inevitably asks people to volunteer to gate check their bags. Sometimes they even let you board before the other poor saps in zone 2, like
you’re doing them a favor. I ALWAYS volunteer.

I like the 170 and up. Feels very spacious (probably just due to the 2x2 seating).

I wouldn’t say I hate them with a passion, but they are maybe 40% hot garbage, 50% fairly OK and 10% good. I’ve got a couple years flying the 190 now, and it is seriously half baked. It does have a nice experience for the people riding out back so it’s got that going for it.

A s a passenger I always liked them pretty well (airy cabin, quiet, good ride) , but I defer to those who have flown them.
